Chaim Durst lecturing on Reclaim Myself: A Handbook for Holistic Recovery. Chaim will discuss strategies he uses to safeguard his sobriety and sanity after close to 30 years on numerous classes of psychiatric drugs, opiates, narcotics, and alcohol.
Chaim has been teaching the Reclaim curriculum at the Alternative to Meds Center in Sedona, Arizona since he tapered of of the 10 medications he arrived there on in 2013. He will cover the exercises he has used to effectively manage chronic pain, withdrawal symptoms, and addictive tendencies.
The Reclaim Myself special workshop is part of the University’s holistic approach to addiction and recovery that includes cognitive behavioral process groups, acupuncture, reiki, and Qigong.
