Opening position in the Pain Medicine Service at the Southern Nevada VA Healthcare System (VASNHS) for Licensed Acupuncturists (LAc).  

Qualifications to include:

1. 1. Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice acupuncture in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
   2. Current board certification through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

The Southern Nevada VA Medical Center is 11 years new and is one of the fastest-growing VA Healthcare Systems in the U.S.

Hiring Opportunity –  soon-to-open Culinary Health Center – Craig in North Las Vegas

An exciting career opportunity is available for a dedicated acupuncturist.

This role, as a Staff OMD for the acupuncture department at the soon-to-open Culinary Health Center – Craig in North Las Vegas, offers the chance to focus solely on patient care without the distractions of administrative duties.

The ideal candidate will hold NCCAOM certification and be eligible for licensure in the State of Nevada. While at least two years of experience is preferred, the position is open to those who are enthusiastic about providing high-quality acupuncture treatments.

A generous compensation package includes a competitive salary starting at $90,000, along with comprehensive health benefits, dental, vision, and paid vacation time with the additional benefit of a professional license fee and malpractice insurance paid. The work week consists of 5 1/2-hour days, a morning or afternoon shift, as well as working every other Saturday from 8-1 PM.

I currently am fully booked out 3-4 weeks in advance and have 4-6 incoming new patient referrals each week to fill another acupuncturist’s calendar within 6 months.
Well established, and well respected in the community. In practice in the same location since 2006.
Referrals are sourced from many local MDs, DCs, and insurance companies.
2 treatment rooms are available.
Great Software program.
Incorporated practice that accepts all major insurance, but in particular getting 2-5 new workers’ compensation cases per week the past 2 months, and I can no longer continue at that pace alone.
No office staff since COVID, but the software is streamlined for easy billing and notetaking, with fax capability directly from an iPad or the main computer. Professional billing service and accounting staff as well, who perform all duties off-site.
Beautifully decorated office, simple and clean, great parking, and sunny location.
Prefer, but not requiring, an acupuncturist who is also trained in massage therapy, as most workers’ compensation cases get 8-12 minutes of massage with their treatments.
