This course introduces the fundamentals and basic principles of Taiji, which is moving, breathing, and meditating in a subtle way to promote the smooth flow of Qi in the body. Taiji is viewed as an exercise for an alternative medical practice. This course will practice 24 Taiji forms, as well as incorporate foundations of Taiji’s steps, postures and movement, qigong warm-ups, and drills in relation to the form.
