Hands-On Learning

Wongu’s Master of Science in Oriental Medicine Degree program does not underestimate the value of practical, hands-on education.  A large percentage of Wongu’s curriculum focuses on practical education i.e. Meridians 1 & 2, Acupuncture Techniques 1 thru 3, Qi-Gong and Acupressure just to name a few.  This hands on learning in the classroom is additional to all the Hands-On Learning

Practical Experience at Wongu’s Clinic

The Wongu Health Center is located on the university campus.  Students receive clinical education in a real medical environment.  During a student’s internship, students treat local community members seeking medical care.  The students work hand-in-hand with Oriental Medicine doctors and healthcare staff, giving them valuable practical experience, and ensuring a smooth transition into an Oriental Medicine career. Excellent Student-to-Teacher Ratio

At Wongu University, the student to teacher ratio is small.  For that reason, students have quality interaction with their professors.  This greater interaction allows for students to get more clinical and classroom experiences in, and ensures that all questions get answered comprehensively.    We urge you to visit our campus so you can experience the Excellent Student-to-Teacher Ratio
