Non-Matriculated Students
If you want to enroll in graduate-level courses at Wongu University without official admission into a degree-granting program, you may apply to Wongu as a non-matriculated student. The non-matriculated application fee is $100.
A Non-Matriculated student is permitted to take select courses for credit on a part-time basis, as a non-degree candidate, as long as the student can demonstrate academic preparedness and has met any prerequisites for the course. Non-matriculated students may enroll in select courses if the following conditions are met:
- There is space available in the class.
- Students have completed prerequisites for the course at an accredited college or university and attained a C grade or better or have Academic Dean permission.
- Students have submitted a Non-Matriculated Application form
Duration of Non-Matriculated Status:
Non-matriculated students may retain their status for a maximum duration of one year or until 36 credits have been earned, whichever comes first. After this period, the students must matriculate to continue taking courses.
Exemption:
Those who are licensed outside of Nevada or out-of-country practitioners seeking credits for NCCAOM/other states’ licensure requirements and are enrolling as Non-Matriculated students to fulfill additional hours to meet the requirements are exempt from the above maximum duration. These practitioners may continue to enroll in courses as needed until they meet the licensure requirements.
