Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Wongu University is following Governor Sisolak’s stay at home directive and travel advisory for the state of Nevada. Wongu University campus and Wongu Health Center is currently open to the public with added safety precautions. The Wongu Health Center is accepting patients by appointment only. Most Winter 2021 courses will be offered online. Only the courses that require a practical portion, OM311, AC302, AC401, and AC550 will be meeting on campus.
Prior to entering the clinic and university, your temperature will be taken and you will be asked to fill in the following pre-screening questionnaire.
COVID-19 Confirmed Case
Sunday, July 26, 2020: We received a report of a confirmed Covid-19 case on campus. The individual last visited the Wongu Health Center (WHC) on Monday, July 13, 2020.
Tuesday, April 7, 2020: A student notified WUOM of testing positive. The individual self-isolated and received care. The individual was last on campus on March 16, 2020.
This information will be updated as confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Wongu University Community are reported. When an individual is confirmed to have COVID-19, the Southern Nevada Health District determines who they may have had close contact with and guidance is provided directly to those individuals. If there is a need for anyone to be quarantined or tested, they will be contacted by the Southern Nevada Health District.
Please continue social distancing and personal health precaution standards including wearing cloth face covering in the public setting where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain. Stay informed on COVID-19 information with the CDC and SNHD websites.
