Hands-On Learning

Wongu’s Master of Science in Oriental Medicine Degree program does not underestimate the value of practical, hands-on education.  A large percentage of Wongu’s curriculum focuses on practical education i.e. Meridians 1 & 2, Acupuncture Techniques 1 thru 3, Qi-Gong and Acupressure just to name a few.  This hands on learning in the classroom is additional to all the clinical experience students receive at our Wongu Health Center.  At Wongu we feel that practical knowledge in Acupuncture & Herbology are just as important as classroom learning.  Our students benefit from a more well-rounded understanding of Oriental Medicine, and how it is practically applied in a healthcare setting.
